Jah Division (Joy Division)
According to their keys player, Barry London, Jah Division began as a joke after he discovered his new keyboard had a “JoyDiv” sound setting. The group describes their sounds as, shockingly, “a cross between early ‘80s British indie rock and reggae.” After the eureka moment with the keyboard, a jam session ensued and fun songs like “Isolation Dub,” “Heart and Soul Dub” and “Dub Will Tear Us Apart” were created.
