2008 2K Sports Bounce Tour

The link between video games and music goes at least as far back as your cool uncle bumpin Supertramp while playing Pong. At this show the connections are even deeper, with video game maker 2K Sports organizing a fourth edition of the popular Bounce Tour. This year, the company has tapped former A Tribe Called Quest frontman Q-Tip and current “it” group The Cool Kids to front this cross-country tour. We were personally more excited about Q-Tip waxing with a live band and EPMD’s DJ Scratch, but we’d be remiss not to mention the 2K Video Game Lounge—where you could perfect your NBA 2K9 skills while “Award Tour” plays in the background.
