So what’s the status of the renovations?
The pool is going to start being renovated in October. The city has $50 million earmarked for the construction.
So where will the music be played?
We are working with finding a new venue in North Brooklyn so that the concerts and movies can continue next summer. There is some park land at North 8th and Kent, so we are trying to get community support for that.
Are you sad about live music leaving this venue?
I am a little bit sad, but I am new the area and don’t have as much of an emotional connection to it. The space will be good as a pool too.
Will shows ever return to this space?
They will have concerts, but it will be much smaller

BooHoo. Now the hipsters will have to find another cesspool to infest.
