Like hot dogs and rooftop parties, the city’s entry into summer offers with it the inevitable rap/rock tour that, while far from its late-90s peak, still brings together hipsters, metalheads, hip-hop fans and stoners under one banner. On tour promoting his tenth album (Tenth?! Really?!), pimp, soccer coach, TV star and sometime rapper Snoop Dogg brought his show to Brooklyn to discuss the differences between “boss” and “pimp” and smoke weed to the delight of thousands. 311 and Fiction Plane also played.
