Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band

Bruce “The Boss” Springsteen and his E Street Band found fame touring anthemic and acoustic rockers about working folks (“Born in the U.S.A.,“ “The River,” the new “Working on a Dream”), young lovers (“Thunder Road”), outcasts (“Streets of Philadelphia”) and losers holding on to hope (“Born to Run”). Jersey's favorite son sees himself as a Pete Seeger-type, writing about blue collar life and politics; we see him as the soul patched guy who played the inauguration and Super Bowl half-time, and has that song in “The Wrestler.” Fittingly these will be the last concerts played at Giants Stadium before the new one opens.
