30 Seconds to Mars
Jared Leto has lived a very interesting life. He's the rare success as an actor (Fight Club, Girl, Interrupted, Panic Room, American Psycho, Requiem for a Dream) and rock star, with his band 30 Second to Mars now a staple on rock radio and Leto serving as the band's vocalist, rhythm guitarist and songwriter. This week's two shows at the Hammerstein (last night and tonight) mark an end to the alt-rock band's two-year tour to support their album "This is War," a tour which saw the band play 300+ shows. (Note: the band is also performing acoustic shows at St. Peter's Church on Dec. 8 and 9 with special guests Vitamin String Quartet...good luck with getting tickets to that!).
