Andrew W.K.
When hard rock aficionado and up-with-everything motivational speaker Andrew W.K. released his first album "I Get Wet," in 2001, few could have anticipated we'd still be talking about him today. Not that we didn't dig the unabashedly party-centric lyrics or power-chord assault-hell, it was the perfect soundtrack before a revelry-filled weekend-but we've been pleasantly surprised to see the singer and Santos Party House co-owner grow to become lecturer, musical chameleon and New York ambassador of sorts for the moribund NYC nightlife scene. This was his first live show with a full band in five years. Onto Austin! With The Dirty Pearls and Chainsaw Trio.
