The annual Syndicate Conflict of Interest party is a pre-CMJ tradition—a boozy, noisy kickoff event held at throwback super club Rebel. Like in previous years, the lineup notes a who’s who of the industry buzz (Kitten, Oh Land, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr.) and an established big gun. Nada Surf filled that role beautifully, having been a CMJ staple for over a decade. Nice to see them back, especially with GBV's Doug Gillard. Reggie Watts brought the funny. Were you snapped?
