A kickoff party for CMJ, featuring the buzziest of new bands
Every year we eagerly anticipate The Syndicate's Conflict of Interest party that unofficially kicks off CMJ, mostly because of the excellent line-ups of bands, fab swag and plenty of very cheap booze. Never mind that the line to get in is generally around the block and the three-floor club is packed to the gills; these kids know how to throw a party. This year the party featured performances from Chiddy Bang (with a mainstage DJ set from Chiddy's bestie Xaphoon Jones), Walk the Moon, Boy & Bear and The Young Evils. Upstairs DJs rocked it with sets from Penguin Prison, The Knocks and Body Language. Were you snapped?
