A dark retrospective from the master of evil music
"Dead cats hanging from poles / Little dead are out in groves / I remember Halloween...." Is there any singer better suited for a Halloween show than Glenn Danzig? As part of his "Legacy" tour, the metal crooner cherry-picked gory classics from all three of his bands (Danzig, Samhain, The Misfits), with 'fits songs like "I Turned Into a Martian," "Last Caress" and the aforementioned "Halloween" garnering the biggest singalongs of the night (helped mightily by the on-stage presence of his ex-bandmate Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein). And encores that included "Mother" and "Skulls"? Spooky good stuff. With Corrosion of Conformity.--Kirk Miller
