David Gray
David Gray became a star stateside with his 1999 album "White Ladder," a smart rock-pop effort carried by Gray's emotive vocals and augmented with subtle electronic touches. Building on the momentum of a successful "Saturday Night Live" appearance, Maine-based shoemaker turned singer/songwriter Ray LaMontagne brings smooth, ‘70s-ish song stylings (and beard) to the stage. Often compared to the likes of manly folk-rockers Stephen Stills and Van Morrison, LaMontagne has the looks that steal girlfriends and the voice of an old soul.
