The Doors- Before 1979, there were no rock categories at the Grammy Awards. So when The Doors exploded in 1967, "Grammys were still grappling with rock," says Grein. "Rock was lumped in with pop and almost always lost." A documentary of The Doors, 'When You're Strange,' did win a Grammy for best long-form music video (2010). That award went to the film's director and producers.
