For his first (and probably only) record with legendary indie label Rhymesayers, “Stimulus Package,” former Roc-A-Fella up-and-comer Freeway teamed with producer Jake One. The product's an appropriately scrappy but polished LP of street-ish rhymes and hard-ish beats. Between the solid guest list (Raekwon, Birdman, Mr. Porter, etc.) and the elements of true grit, this one should do much to repair the potholes in Freeway's take-the-long-route career path.
