An impressively diverse dance party in the sun
We know. It's kind of a beast to get to Governors Island. But once you get there, you're rewarded with one of the most idyllic and beautiful spots in New York. The organizers culled an impressively diverse lineup, with Girl Talk and Pretty Lights headlining and psych-pop group Empire of the Sun, OutKast's Big Boi, chillwave leader Neon Indian, intellectual hip-hop ironists Das Racist and playful, throwback rapper Mac Miller all making appearances. With that lineup, your whining about getting there better stop now.
