THE BEACH BOYS: The band celebrated its 50th anniversary with a reunion album ('That's Why God Made the Radio') and tour, but surviving the test of time hasn't proven enough to earn the group a trophy. The Beach Boys have yet to win a competitive Grammy (only a lifetime achievement award ) and weren't nominated this year.
