Last time we caught revered indie rock rabble rousers Guided By Voices on New Year's in New York, frontman Robert Pollard was having a "drunk off" with Strokes lead singer Julian Casablancas at The Apollo in 2001. In a battle for who could be drunker, the crowd wins no matter who loses. Isn't that right? A decade on, Pollard hasn't exactly mellowed out, as seen during this epic New Year's Eve set.
