When word came that British nu-rave/electro-rock darlings Klaxons were recording "Surfing the Void" with producer Ross “the Godfather of nu-metal” Robinson in Los Angeles, the Brits barely knew what to think. Freak out or be titillated? Write them off or write them up with even more exclamation marks and adulation?
