For their ninth (take that, haters!) studio album due in July, the veteran alt-metal quartet has teamed up once again with producer Ross Robinson, who helmed the band’s first two albums, including their now-classic 1994 debut. Frontman Jonathan Davis told Revolver magazine that the results are less experimental than the band’s more recent albums and more “raw like the old stuff.” Last night at Roseland Ballroom, the old stuff was played live. As well as the new stuff. It was all raw. Like steak tartare chased with a Busch Lite.
