Already a hit in their native U.K., where their debut LP has been out since last June, electro-pop duo La Roux has finally carted their synths Stateside for an extended tour. Lead by well-coifed frontwoman Elly Jackson, the vibe shifts between disco-dance gloss (like Little Boots), retro pop-rock (like Ladyhawke) and an impulse toward ‘80s-informed alt-ness (hey there, Bat for Lashes), electro post-punk (such as CSS) and a touch of subversion (see: Gossip).
