With Fol Chen
In the early-00s, when bands like The Strokes, Interpol and Yeah Yeah Yeahs were fomenting their success and building bigger and bigger audiences, Liars were the weird cousin at the party; the kid who was cool to talk to for a little while, but then got a little too bizarre for extended conversation. Years later, the group still gets the invite to the reunion, if only because everyone else is still curious what they're going to say next. Over five albums, the group has stylistically changed their sound but defiantly remain true to their noisy, percussive roots. With Fol Chen.
