Post-grunge Seattle had another musical renaissance at the beginning of the 2000s, with Modest Mouse, Band of Horses and These Arms Are Snakes leading a diverse rock movement. One of the city's other biggest bands Minus the Bear deserves props for churning out, over the course of four albums, a catchy mix of guitar-driven rock, odd time changes and complex song structures.
