QUINCY JONES (6): Legendary record man Jones built his reputation as a producer for artists like Michael Jackson before putting out his own winning 'Back on the Block.' The album's concept was clever, Grein says, touted as "the history of black music from be-bop to hip-hop." Jones won six awards for it in 1991, including album and producer of the year.
