A scene that has been regularly endorsed by hip-hop icon Damon Dash (in attendance), Less Artists More Condos (L.A.M.C.) has been making strides as the underground promoter to watch. At this, the latest of the L.A.M.C.'s unusual bookings—soulful spazzy outbursts of Ava Luna, with the dance-demanding surf-punk of the So So Glos and debaucherous hipster-hop of Ninjasonik left the bar beneath the Chelsea hotel sweaty and defiled. But it wasn't until someone literally turned the lights out that the party hit its grimy heights with grind-dancing and indiscriminate booty shaking over familiar indie beats. —Ryan Muir
