Satanicide
Satanicide returned for one night only (or so they keep saying) to rock their fans at the Mercury Lounge. And the fans still know every word to every song. The band claims to have influenced every Sunset Strip ‘80s hair metal band of note, and we believe them. Straight out of Bayonne, NJ, these boys rock. They even have a song that says so. It's called "We Rock." With "hot" backup singer/dancer Peg (also known as comedian Dave Hill), the band really took it to a different level of sexy. The night was billed as a "band-off" of sorts, with Satanicide playing against Beantown powdered-wig rockers Upper Crust. In a classic New York v. Boston rivalry, Satancide won this bout.
