Semi Precious Weapons follow in the classic New York tradition of Warhol, Jayne County and other provocateurs that used music as a springboard for their outlandish, gaudy aesthetics. Musically, the group's feet are firmly planted in glam rock, meaning that the visuals of the live show are just as important—if not more so—than the music itself, which the band accurately describes as being "dangerous, dirty, and fun."
