Yeah, they were supposed to close forever last summer, but they managed to keep it going again this summer because of the crappy real estate market...

Oh Snap!
After a long and fruitful season, BKLYN Yard has closed its doors for the fall. Sad! But before they put away their sunblock and folded up their bikini tops, they threw one last no-holds-barred canal-side bash, and it was great. Great! The Brooklyn County Fair: A Gowanus Hootenanny was filled with live music and DJs; local grub—from key lime pies to bratwurst; artisan vendors and Etsy masters; crazy entertainment, from contra dancing to fire breathing. And plenty of late-summer ales. Festive!
