The Dandy Warhols | The Bell House
For nearly 15 years, Portland's The Dandy Warhols have been kicking around the music scene, releasing albums that combine a trademark blend of washy feedback, psychedelic itches and spacey synth-pop jams. It's been an inconsistent run for the band's outspoken, funny and puzzlingly bizarre frontman Courtney Taylor-Taylor. While DW songs have themed cult TV hits like "Veronica Mars," "Undeclared" and an Australian reality show called “My Restaurant Rules,” the band's latest two releases have landed with a thud, and a whisper, respectively (although 2003's "Welcome to the Monkey House" is a grossly underrated pop gem).
