Washington D.C.’s The Dismemberment Plan went through a highly publicized breakup in 2003, only to see lead singer Travis Morrison release a solo album—"Travistan"—that was met with such public vitriol it caused the poor man to leave the business entirely. (He’s since worked in technology at both the Washington and Huffington Posts). With the re-release of "Emergency and I," the 1999 album widely deemed the group's best, Morrison and company decided to get the band back together for a series of shows to celebrate the reissue and to make a lot of people very, very happy.
