The GBH 10 Year Anniversary
You’ve probably seen the name plastered on hand bills, blog posts and email blasts for years, but does anybody know what GBH stands for? Well it's neither "grievous bodily harm" nor "gamma hydroxybutyrate” (though the club drug may be ever so slightly closer to the truth than the statutory crime under British law). Aimless Google searches aside, GBH stands for partying—the promotional team that started off as a Friday night house music fete has been organizing music events in the city for 10 years now. To celebrate the organizers invited their favorite acts to perform, including MSTRKRFT, James Murphy, Does it Offend You, Yeah?, L.A. Riots and Grandmaster Flash.
