The year's hippest new rapper invades NYC
Few rappers have groomed themselves for success amongst hipsters more efficiently than Theophilus London, a Morrissey and Gaspar Noé acolyte and TV on the Radio ally who built big blog buzz with his mixtapes, then premiered a recent single not on Fader or Pitchfork but on the social media news site Mashable. London's debut includes duets with Holly Miranda and Sara Quin of Tegan and Sara. Last night, he hit up the Bowery Ballroom.
