I had the impression for the longest time that Building on Bond was just a cafe but I had dinner there last night and it was delicious. They have a full food and bar menu. I got an amazing greek salad to start and then the pulled pork sandwich which came with the jicama salad on a pretzel roll. The salty and sweet were just right! I can't wait to go back.

I am normally not a bar/coffee shop person. But Building at Bond is a very friendly, welcoming neighborhood place. The coffee and pastries are good and the drinks are stiff. I also love what they did with the place! It was just a depressing corner store for a long time, and then empty. It makes the corner safer as it stays open late. A great "office" for neighborhood writers and dreamers.
