disappointing dinner party

Overall rating:

Would NOT recommend Freeman's as a place for hosting a pre-arranged event. Despite the over-priced menu we committed to, the hosts were completely unaccomodating and would not seat us until 40 minutes after our reservation. Even though we explained that it was a surprise dinner and we were waiting for the guest to arrive last. They were unorganized and in disarray, there are much better places for hosting a group.

Best artichoke dip

Overall rating:

This is one of my favorite places in the LES. When you come here, you have to make sure not to miss the mac n' cheese or their infamous artichoke dip. Freemans can get a bit sceney and on a weekend there is usually a significant wait but the overall vibe and delicious food is so enticing, it keeps me coming back.
