It's closer to the Hudson than it is to the Pacific, but with its sunny-colored walls and surfboard decor, this little sandwich place has a West Coast feel to it. The burgers are famous in the neighborhood, and the spicy chicken sandwiches - trimmed with one of the inventive toppings - are local favorites, too. If you insist on fries with your burger, you'll be disappointed - they don't make them, and if you want a beer with your sandwich you won't get that either. Instead, order up one of the classic milkshakes.
