Waiters with tuxedo t-shirts are the most memorable design aspect of this round-the-clock diner, a much-needed addition to the Lower East Side after what seems like every trendy hipster and blogged-about chef invested in culinary real estate below Houston Street. Some people have complained about the management (super slow service, cold food), but the brother-owners will surely remind you that's part of the charm. The comfort food menu is beyond borders, with everything from Cuban sandwiches to baked ziti to tuna melts to souvlaki, and there are nearly a dozen kinds of burgers (including buffalo, turkey and veggie).
