Rock Center Cafe

This tried-and-true bistro sits in the heart of touristy Rockefeller Center. Businessmen taking important lunch meetings mingle side-by-side Midwestern families just descended from Top of the Rock. The menu covers a little bit of everything: pasta, chicken, burgers, seafood...it's all there. Desserts are especially delicious, and in summer months, the restaurant opens onto the viewing area for the Rock Center skating rink. So if your date isn't too interesting, perhaps that skater doing a double lutz will keep you occupied.
