Duke's
- Neighborhood: Midtown East
- 560 Third Avenue
- New York, NY 10016
- 212-949-5400
- Price range: $$$ ($16-$25)
An outpost of the festive, always-packed Gramercy mainstay, the scene at Duke's revolves primarily around mass amounts of cold beer, ex-frat boys, sports, and heaping portions of messy BBQ. The new Murray Hill location is brand new and features a bigger space than the original but the odd hours are the same (both are only open until 1 a.m. on weekends). The menu is traditional Southern BBQ, with choices like biscuits and gravy, chicken wings, ribs and Carolina pulled-pork sandwiches.
