Savoy: User Reviews
I had the luxury of taking a date to the Savoy this past Friday. Reservations were at 9pm sharp, and as soon as we walked in the front door, our coats were hung. We followed a young lady up the stairs past the main bar and walked into a beautiful 2nd floor space. Romantic tables for two lined the walls and we were lead to a corner table overlooking the streets below. A few minutes after having sat down, our server greeted us and told us about the specials. Excellent wine list, extensive but not intimidating. The restaurant serves organic produce and free range meats, and the food was delicious. This is a place where you need to dedicate at least a full three hours to get the most of it. Make sure you're with good company, as while my wine glass was empty for a good ten minutes, at least I was having good conversation. Very romantic and a perfect first date place.
