Grilled!: Tap & Tapas
Groove With Me is a youth-development organization that offers free dance classes and performance opportunities to young women in New York City. At their annual spring benefit, some of New York’s top-shelf kitchen talent served signature dishes like chicken-liver parfait and almond vichyssoise.

To honor the culinary muscle and mind in the room, we did what we know best: grill each of the participants on topics ranging from grisly kitchen accidents to David Chang. All questions were pulled randomly out of a sauce pan.

We spoke with Tom Colicchio and Damon Wise (Craft), April Bloomfield (The Spotted Pig), Mark Ladner (Del Posto), Terrance Brennan (Picholine), Claudia Fleming (The North Fork Table & Inn), David Hynes (Primehouse New York), Larissa Raphael (Telepan), Bill McDaniel (The Red Cat) and Katie Lee Joel.
