The folks behind longtime Upper East Side scoop station Sedutto have spun off this tiny ice-cream-and-doughnuts takeout counter in Hell's Kitchen ("holey"—gets?). The ice-cream section, natch, will feature Sedutto's rotating roster of 34 ice cream flavors and eight types of fro-yo, including their best-seller, fat-free choco-peanut-butter-chip frozen yogurt. Ciao Bella gelato will also be available. As for the doughnuts, co-owner Michael Friedlander says he was keen on serving only one particular kind: Dreesen's, those ultra-popular Hamptons doughnuts, which will be made here in-house daily. And all day, apparently: Holey Cream is open from 6 a.m. until midnight (2 a.m. on weekends). If you're looking for something less holey, cupcakes (Oreo, red velvet) should fit the bill, and you can wash them down with Illy coffee. Holey Cream opens on Monday, Dec. 14.
