The husband-wife owners of this charming West Village bakery/cafe might be what Malcolm Gladwell calls "connectors"—people who bring great things together. Not only does their quaint little storefront, dominated by a large pink wall visible from the street, pool together like-minded neighbors en route to work or lingering at the few wooden counter or bench spots. It also assimilates some nice local vendors onto one menu, such as Gimme! Coffee and pastries from Baked, a Red Hook bakery that they also run. At this rate, they'll hit the tipping point soon.
