When owner Tully Lewis was diagnosed with gluten intolerance in 2008, she didn't waste time mourning her sweet tooth, but instead set her sights on creating an excellent bakery without the offending starch. Two years later, and she's now offering a lifeline to the many gluten-free New Yorkers who've been missing out on the cupcake revolution. Tully's tiny, Tinkerbell-cute storefront is a safe haven for the gluten-impaired, offering a range of regular and mini cupcakes, dark chocolate brownies and cookies. While Tully's packaged Celiac-safe baked goods have been available at a few retail shops around town, this tiny shop finally offers a chance to enjoy her fresh-baked decadent sweets, without the worry of a bellyache on the horizon (assuming you don't indulge too much!).
