Arguably the ultimate neighborhood bar, the Broadway Astoria Tavern boasts a plethora of fellas-type-fun. First of all, there are so many screens showing sports that you couldn't miss your team's crucial last inning play if you tried. There's also dart boards, pool tables, and a vibrant mixed crowd of older sports fans and younger party-seekers. On top of all that, they brew their own beer, (in addition to a fine selection of imported and domestics) which is surprisingly smooth. Drop by next time you can't make it to Shea.
