There aren't a ton of reasonably priced breakfast/lunch options in this area and this is an easy go-to. It's not bad but it feels a bit played out. The food is just okay, its always super crowded and loud, and there is a contrived trendiness about it.

One late night, we stumbled across this place. We really didn't expect much from what appeared to be a converted garage. OMG! I tried to duplicate thier pear martini at home - not even close! The collard greens had enough applewood smoked bacon for each mouth full! The country fried steak was better than anywhere in the south! For desert...I highly suggest the banana split. It was served on a made-to-order waffle with carmalized bananas, and no need to ask for extra whipped cream!! I usually eat this type of food at Amy Ruth's in Harlem. This is a GREAT find! Portions large enough to split if you order a dessert. The martinis are $10.00 each - but...YUMMY!
