RESTAURANTS: Getting head at Pho Sure

This just in: Michael Bao Huynh's upcoming new pho joint, cheekily called Pho Sure and located at the back of his latest Baoguette branch on Christopher Street, gives new meaning to the phrase "food porn." Among its pho offerings is something Huynh is calling Beef Peen: a pho dish that is made with—don't gag—beef penis. Yep, a good ol' beefy wanker. In your soup. Open wide!

If you can't get enough head, Huynh is also offering a big bowl called Mo Pho (yep, the chef indeed has a sense of humor). In addition to beef penis, it'll also have beef tongue and tendon. So yes, insatiable diners: You can now get both tongue AND penis in one delectable dish.

If Baoguette's mouthwatering offerings are any indication, then we're prepping for some seriously terrific stuff at Pho Sure. Big bowls will go for $8-$10, while small ones are $3-$8. The Baoguette portion of the restaurant will be serving sandwiches until 8 p.m., but if you'd like some banh mi after that, Huynh will be offering a "six-pack banh mi slider" sampler for $12 at Pho Sure. The restaurant will also offer shareable plates ($18-$25) like whole baked fish, baby back ribs, rack of lamb and chili-tamarind Dungeness crab.
