Disappointing.

Good to know about the burger, emceebard. I have been here twice now and have been disappointed both times. The menu is pretty straight forward and basic for the prices. The mac n'cheese is $16 but I 'm not really sure for what, there are no complex flavors or anything special about it. Same goes for the sloppy joe dogs which were pretty run of the mill. I'm willing to chance it again on the burger.

Burger revelation

I’ve been here a couple times—always enjoy their pigs in a ditch. Like the lobster roll just swell. But for some reason the semi-famous burger has alluded my ordering. No more, and what a revelation. Perfect med-rare patty, topped with ripe summer tomatoes (it’s summer somewhere, at least) and field greens with a light vinaigrette—which we included ON the burger. What a revelation (take 2). The acidy dressing works perfectly with the grilled meat. American cheese on top. We had a side of chicken wings too. It was 1am. Marc Murphy, I like your restaurants a lot, especially when half in the bag after too many non-Cosmo cocktails.
