Like Frasier from "Cheers", the burger at the original DuMont restaurant was so popular it got it's own spinoff show. The fatty patty on brioche bun with Boston bibb lettuce has remained intact on its journey through Williamsburg from the New Amsterican bistro on Union Avenue to this spare sister shack (as has its little sidekick, the DuMont mini, and the DuMac and Cheese, both riding in the sidecar). It's primarily a take-out spot, but there's a full bar and a mean apple crumble, both of which tend to make people linger a little longer.
