After Craft honcho Tom Colicchio staked his claim on Tuesdays with his limited-seating Tom: Tuesday Dinner, Craft exec chef Damon Wise calls shotgun on every other day of the week with DFF—an expanded offshoot of Damon Frugal Friday (hence the new acronym), his once-a-week menu of under-$10 bites. (It's located in the same space as the Tuesday gigs, right next to Craft. Dishes run the gamut from pizzas (ricotta with black cabbage and truffle vinaigrette, $7) to tapas (fried quail with apple chutney and black garlic purée, $8) to offal (pig's ear with deviled egg salad, $9). Service runs from 5:30 p.m. until midnight, but reservations aren't accepted.
