Jacob's Pickles

Used to be your pickle spot was a guy in the Lower East Side with a barrel full of half sours and some rubber gloves. Now your guy is Jacob and he's got a nice place on the Upper West Side. The world has changed. Those who can flow with it will benefit greatly: Jacob's specializes in pickled goods (special sours, hot sours, candy red beets, salt and pepper asparagus, sweet and spicy carrots, sour green tomatoes), biscuits from scratch, and craft beer -- all of which is available for takeaway or to eat in the restaurant.
