Chef Zoe Feigenbaum finally gets the spotlight with her first restaurant, Zoe, an intimate spot in the Lower East Side. Feigenbaum, former chef at National, dishes up new American cuisine including plates of tongue tacos on homemade corn tortillas, octopus served with green olives, labna, and harissa, and bucatini with cracked black pepper and uni. A New York native, Feigenbaum tells us she decided to open the restaurant, which has a Danish modern decor, on the Lower East Side because "the neighborhood has a lot of energy and life, and it's a place where people are interested in food and its quality."
