A pair of socially-conscious young women run this playful and eco-friendly Boerum Hill ice cream parlor/cafe, which, in very rare and dire circumstances, can sustain itself solely by recycling and living off of this writeup (no adverts in sight). The tabletops are made from reclaimed agricultural fiber, the walls coated in non-paint natural clay, and the ceiling is recycled wood salvaged from a long-ago production of "Uncle Vanya". Oh, and the ice cream—there are around 15 flavors available (hazelnut crunch, green tea), all made from grass-fed dairy products from the Hudson Valley.
